Who we are

This site, blindpigwp.com, is operated by ClearComet Ventures, LLC to share news about Blind Pig WP, a WordPress plugin formerly called SpeakEasy MCP. “Blind Pig WP” is a trademark of ClearComet Ventures, LLC. Our other addresses (blindpigmcp.com, speakeasymcp.com and speakeasywp.com) simply redirect here and are covered by this policy. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].

What gets collected, and by whom

Cloudflare. The site runs through Cloudflare, which handles delivery and security. Like any network in the middle, it sees your IP address, browser details and the pages you request, and it may log them to block attacks and report connection errors. It also hides our email address from spam bots with a small script. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Our web host. The server that hosts this site keeps standard access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser details) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are rotated and deleted on a routine schedule.
WordPress.org emoji images. If your browser can’t display emoji on its own, WordPress may load emoji images from WordPress.org, which then sees your IP address.
Email. If you write to [email protected], we get your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply and to run the beta, and we don’t sell it or add you to a mailing list you didn’t ask for.

That’s the whole list. This site uses no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no session recording and no ad networks. The SEO plugin we use (Rank Math) only writes search-engine tags into the page; it doesn’t track visitors.

Cookies

Visitors get no tracking or analytics cookies, which is why there’s no cookie banner. The only cookies here are WordPress login cookies for the site’s own administrators.

Accounts

There are no visitor accounts and no sign-up on this site.

Deleting your data

Want us to delete what we have on you, such as your emails with us? Write to [email protected] from the address you used, and say what you’d like removed. We’ll confirm once it’s done, usually within 30 days. There’s no self-serve deletion tool because there are no visitor accounts. Host and Cloudflare logs expire on their own schedules.

The Blind Pig WP plugin

This policy covers this website. The plugin itself, once installed on your own site, makes no external calls and sends nothing back to us.
