Plain terms for a quiet door. By using blindpigwp.com (or any of our addresses that redirect to it) or the Blind Pig WP plugin, you agree to the following.

Blind Pig WP and this site are operated by ClearComet Ventures, LLC (“we”). “Blind Pig WP” is a trademark of ClearComet Ventures, LLC. The plugin was formerly called SpeakEasy MCP; these terms cover it under either name.

What Blind Pig WP is

Blind Pig WP is a security aid. It hides your WordPress MCP endpoints from requests that don’t carry your key or come from an allowed address. It reduces exposure; it does not make a site impossible to attack. No security tool can promise that, and we don’t. Keep your logins, Application Passwords, updates and backups in good order.

Early access

Blind Pig WP is in early access and beta testing. Features can change, break or go away without notice. Test it on a site you can afford to troubleshoot before relying on it.

As is

The website and the plugin are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that either will be error-free, uninterrupted or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, ClearComet Ventures, LLC and anyone involved in making Blind Pig WP won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of the website or the plugin, even if told such damages were possible. Where liability can’t be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Blind Pig WP, if any.

Your responsibilities

You’re responsible for your own site, its configuration, its backups and who you let in. Don’t use the plugin or this site for anything unlawful, or to attack or probe systems you don’t own or have permission to test.

The plugin’s license

Use of the plugin is also governed by the license it ships with. If that license and these terms conflict, the license wins for the plugin’s code.
